What the month does to the Day Master
Born in 巳, the first month of summer, with a water Day Master. 囚 — the Self restrains the season and is confined by the effort. Water controls fire, and from the fourth month onward there is a great deal of fire to hold.
巳 holds 丙 fire, 庚 metal and 戊 earth. The fire is what you are containing and it leads the branch. But 庚 is inside it, and metal produces water — 巳 is where metal begins its cycle, so the month working against you also contains the start of your supply.
