What the month does to the Day Master
Born in 辰, the last month of spring, with a water Day Master. 死 by the seasonal table, since earth controls water — but 辰 is the 水庫, the vault of water, and that is the whole content of this position.
辰 holds 戊 earth, 乙 wood and 癸 water. The earth formally controls you, the wood draws on you, and your own phase is stored inside the branch. A vault holds rather than blocks: what is kept there is not absent, and it can be opened by a later branch or decade.
《窮通寶鑑》 reads the third month as the hinge into summer, damp and warming. For a water Day Master the classical requirement is metal to keep producing you and enough of your own phase to make the reserve usable.
The practical reading: this is nominally the worst kind of month for your phase and materially one of the least severe, because the month that contains you also stores you.
