申 holds 庚 metal, 壬 水 and 戊 earth. Your output leads the branch, water follows it, and your own phase sits inside as a residue. The month takes rather than gives, though it does not attack.
《窮通寶鑑》 reads early autumn as the turn from heat toward cold, and for an earth Day Master that changes the instruction from the summer months entirely.
