What the month does to the Day Master
Born in 未, the last month of summer, with an earth Day Master. 得令 — the Self holds the mandate, and 未 is the hottest and driest of your four months.
未 holds 己 earth, 丁 fire and 乙 wood, and it is the 木庫, the vault of wood. Your phase leads, summer fire sits behind it, and the wood that would open the ground is stored rather than active.
《窮通寶鑑》 reads the sixth month as the tail of the heat and gives earth the same instruction it gives every Day Master in that quarter: water. For your phase the reason is physical rather than seasonal — dry earth is the failure mode the classics name most often, and 未 is dry earth in the month when it is driest.
