A wood Day Master born in 子, the rat month
The month pillar is the strongest single influence on whether a Day Master is supported. 子 is the second month of winter; it opens at 大雪 Major Snow, around 7 December, and runs to about 5 January.

What the month does to the Day Master
Born in 子, the second month of winter, with a wood Day Master. 相 — the season produces the Self — and it produces it with more force and less balance than 亥 did.
子 is a pure branch holding only 癸 water. Deep winter, maximum moisture, no warmth anywhere in the month. For a wood Self that is supply without season: the water is there, the ground is frozen, and a root sitting in cold water is being fed by something it cannot yet use.
This is the case the 調候 method exists for, and 《窮通寶鑑》 is emphatic about the eleventh month across every Day Master: fire is what the season wants, and no amount of the supporting element substitutes for it. A wood chart born in 子 with fire somewhere in it reads entirely differently from the same chart without.
So the practical position is unusual. You are supported and still stalled, and the element that helps you is not the element that produces you. Charts like this are often misread as strong on the count and then behave as though they were not.
The month gives you material. What it does not give is the temperature to do anything with it, and that is where the reading goes next.

The four pillars, the Day Master, the five-phase count, the day’s almanac read against the chart and the true solar time working — about 2,700 words — are free and need no account. The chart is computed in the browser; nothing about the birth is sent anywhere.
