Born in 亥, the first month of winter, with a wood Day Master. This is 相 — the season produces the Self — and it is the best of the non-spring positions by a clear margin.
亥 holds 壬 water and 甲 wood. Water produces wood, so the month feeds you directly; and the presence of 甲 inside the branch is not incidental — 亥 is where wood begins in the twelve-stage cycle, 長生, the point at which a thing has started and is not yet visible.
