子 is a cardinal branch holding only 癸 water. Where 亥 carried wood inside it as material to work, 子 carries nothing at all except your own output. Deep winter, maximum moisture, and a metal Self born here is producing continuously into a season that gives nothing back.
《窮通寶鑑》 treats the eleventh month as the extreme of the climate problem and asks for warmth for every Day Master without exception.
