1. Your birth data stays on your device

YIBAGUA is a four-pillar chart calculator — 四柱, bazi. To cast a chart it needs three things from you: a date, a time, and a place.

All three are used only inside your browser. The solar-term table, the true-solar-time correction, the stem-and-branch arithmetic and every line of the reading are computed by JavaScript that is already loaded in the page. Nothing about your birth is transmitted anywhere — not to us, not to a third party, not for "improvement" or "analytics".

Because the calculation is local, the site also works with the network switched off after the page has loaded. That is not a marketing line; it is a consequence of how it is built.

We do not keep your chart either. When you close or reload the tab, the chart is gone. If you want to keep it, screenshot it or print the page.

2. What we do not store

• No cookies. The site sets none.
• No localStorage or sessionStorage. Even your light/dark preference is held in memory only, which is why it resets when you reload.
• No account, no profile, no history. There is nothing to log in to and nothing to delete.
• No fingerprinting. We do not run canvas, font-enumeration or device-fingerprinting scripts.

3. Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how many people visit and which pages they land on. It is the privacy-preserving option Cloudflare offers: it does not set cookies, does not use localStorage, does not build a persistent identifier for you, and does not follow you to other websites. What we get back is aggregate — counts of page views, referrers, countries, and browser families. We cannot use it to identify you, and we cannot connect it to any chart you cast.

Like every website on the internet, the server that delivers the page also processes your IP address in order to send you the response, and Cloudflare may log it briefly for security and abuse prevention. We do not have access to a per-visitor log and we do not attempt to build one.

4. Payments

Paid readings and any other purchases are processed by Stripe. When you pay, you leave our page and enter Stripe's checkout. Stripe collects your email address and your payment details and processes them as a data controller under its own privacy policy.

We never see and never store your card number, CVC or bank details. What reaches us is the fact that a payment succeeded and the email address you used, so that we can deliver what you bought and answer you if something goes wrong. We use that email for the order itself. We do not sell it, rent it, or add it to a marketing list.

5. No third-party code

The page loads no advertising scripts, no social widgets, no A/B testing tools, no session recorders, no chat widgets and no analytics SDK beyond the Cloudflare snippet described above. Fonts, styles, images and the calculation engine are all served from our own domain — there is no font CDN, no script CDN and no external asset host.

6. Email

If you write to us, we hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. We do not use it for anything else.

7. Children

YIBAGUA is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Since we collect no personal information from visitors in the first place, there is nothing about a child for us to hold.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or erase personal data held about you. In our case the honest answer is usually that we hold none: there is no account, no chart archive and no visitor profile to produce or delete.

The exceptions are (a) your purchase record and the email address attached to it, and (b) any email you have sent us. Write to us and we will show you what those contain, correct them, or delete them. For payment data held by Stripe, contact Stripe directly or ask us and we will point you at the right form.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it. We will not quietly start collecting something this page says we do not collect.
